We are currently seeking a contract rate consultant for a business analyst role in the State of New York (New York City surrounding areas) or with availability to travel for up to 1 to 2 years to New York.
We are looking for experience in the areas of Public Safety radio communications and must be familiar with the following:
? Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, codes, rules, and regulations that govern public safety communications as well as FTC requirements.
? In depth knowledge of 700-800MHz communication systems, and low and high band VHF frequencies for 2 way paging.
? Ability to assess multiple departments and agencies communication systems and provide recommendations or strategies for improvement and consolidation, including network, hardware, software, and financial analysis.
? Ability to require and obtain licenses for recommended frequencies
? Act as representative at county level board and information committee meetings, work with all levels of governmental agencies to insure compliance.
? Must have design and implementation experience with interoperable, interdisciplinary voice/data communication infrastructure solution with simulcast capabilities
