Video shows Ohio murder suspect interrogation (AP)

CLEVELAND ? Jurors in the murder trial of a Cleveland man charged with killing 11 women and dumping their remains around his property have heard the suspect's words in detail for the first time.

The prosecution in the trial of 51-year-old Anthony Sowell (SOH'-wehl) played the police video of his 2009 interrogation days after the bodies were discovered.

At the trial, Sowell, dressed in a pale yellow shirt, sat back in his chair watching the video of him smoking and sipping coffee as detectives questioned him about a sexual-assault complaint that led officers to his home.

An officer who testified earlier had said Sowell alluded to more buried bodies during the eight-hour interrogation. In all, five were found buried.

Sowell has pleaded not guilty and could face the death penalty if convicted.
